Zarya Moskovits

Zarya Moskovits is a multidisciplinary textile artist, specialising in digitial embroidery, laser cutting and mixed media printed textile design. Zarya’s role in Creative Computing at the University of the West of England is a continuous source of inpisration and exploration into her own creative practice.

Zarya combines a variety of textiles and techniques to create bold, playful and vibrant accessories from consumer waste and by-products by injecting love and meaning into disregarded materials,

Zarya produces bold, vibrant and playful textile designs that are influenced from a range of disciplines. Her beliefs are that fashion should be fun, energetic and eye catching; that clothes can be used as an extension of self and a form of expression. 

Zarya's new brand 'Mr Volatile' is a character driven accessory collection combining her love of mixed media and multi disciplinary textile techniques.

Designing with sustainability in mind is a key element of Zarya's work and her latest collection is produced solely from organic or up-cycled materials. Combining whimsical iconic imagery for a street wear brand with more environmentally friendly materials and processes.

Securing the message that vibrancy in design and colour need not be lost in when using more environmentally friendly textiles and broadening the market for ethical fashion.
